On August 11, 2004 the Central Montana Shooting Complex (Complex) was formed as a Montana nonprofit corporation with an IRS 501c(4) designation.

Donations to the Complex are not tax deductible.

​

Donations made to the Central Montana Foundation to the benefit of the Complex permanent endowment are tax deductible.

​

The complex is not affiliated with any organizations such as the National Rifle Association,etc.

​

As of August 28, 2026 membership totals 491.

​

Of the 491 members, 86 members from 50 different area codes around the United States have joined the complex this year.
